WRKO Day at Canobie Lake Park (1968)
5,000 listeners were treated to a free day of family fun as the guests of WRKO at Canobie Lake Park.    All the rides were free and entertainment was provided by the Spirit of Now and the Colt Brothers along with a duo of Go-Go girls.  Honcho Poncho, the dashing caballero, made his debut  and gave out 100 of the WRKO Honcho Ponchos to the crowd.  Once again WRKO went to the people of Boston and, as you can see, they loved it.
